We are pleased to announce the availability of Zoho Creator API. With this users can now build their web application in PHP, JSP, ASP, Perl or any other programming language while the data is stored in Zoho Creator. The API opens up a lot of avenues for external websites and developers to collaborate with ZohoCreator Database.
Zoho Creator has both REST and RPC style API’s. It also has JavaScript Client APIs. Zoho Creator REST APIs enables users to Add, Delete, Update and View Records. It also has support for Sharing Applications, Forms, and Views. Also, there are APIs to list Applications, Forms, Fields, and Views. Using JavaScript Client APIs users can embed Zoho Creator Forms in external websites with more options to control the style and placement of the fields. You can read more about Zoho Creator APIs at API Docs. If you need help in building a mashup using our API, do write to us at support(at)zohocreator(dot)com.
Having problems updating records in zoho, getting the following error:<error>2897<message>Permission Denied To Update Record(s).</message></error>The user account I'm using to access the api is the creater/owner of the database. With the same account, I'm able to read values from the database.Any ideas how I can get around this?

Is it possible to use the API to synchronize data between an Oracle database and a Zoho Creator database? We have certain Creator views that will need to pull from the Oracle database.

Is it possible to write code in things like POWERBASIC 9 to drive these APIs - so an application can be written which can be used on various client PCs to update a database on a server PC ?I have been using SQLLITENING/SQLITE apps (client/server database apps). May want to integrate web based databases.
