5 New Additions to OneAuth for an Improved Apple Experience

Zoho OneAuth iOS 18 updates Passkeys Autofill and more

With iOS 18, Apple's focus on customization enables users to personalize their Apple devices.

Zoho OneAuth is here to support that focus. Our new additions (available from day one) will give you the full flavor of Apple's customization and the convenience in authentication that OneAuth is known for.

Convinced? You can download Zoho OneAuth and enjoy the benefits of an improved authentication experience in your Apple devices.

Want to know more about what we have in store? Here are the new additions.

1. Seamless Account Recovery with Passkeys

Passkeys are no longer just for logins. During the iOS 16 update, passkeys improved the login experience across Zoho apps by offering a secure and passwordless sign-in.

With iOS 18, passkeys now support cloud syncing of TFA accounts and ensure smooth account recovery. Whether your device is lost, stolen, or you're migrating to a new one, you can easily recover your accounts. It also ensures convenience without compromising on security.

2. Easy Login with Autofill for Verification Codes

When you're logging into an app and need your TFA code, generally, you switch between the OneAuth app where you receive the code, and the app you're trying to log into. This switch is time-consuming and disrupts your workflow.

With iOS 18, Zoho OneAuth's autofill for verification codes eliminates the need to toggle between apps. You can now simply tap and paste the TFA code directly from the Apple keyboard, streamlining authentication without any app switching.

3. Quick Access with OneAuth Widgets

With iOS 18, you can now add OneAuth widgets to quick actions like—Smart Sign-In, Restrict Sign-In, and Add New Account—to your Control Center, Lock Screen, or Action Button. This gives you faster, more convenient access to key features directly from your home screen.

  • Smart Sign-In: Instantly gain access to your QR scanner without having to open the OneAuth app.

  • Restrict Sign-In: Enable or disable restrict sign-in to prevent unauthorized future sign-ins for added security.

  • Add New Account: Add new TFA accounts to OneAuth quickly.

These widgets enable you to navigate directly to the OneAuth app from the control center, which streamlines the sign-in process.

4. Customize Your iPad Navigation

With this year's Apple update, you can now personalize your iPad navigation using the floating tab bar and sidebar features in Zoho OneAuth.

The floating tab bar lets you customize the view with the features you use most frequently, making app navigation more straightforward and efficient.

Additionally, the sidebar provides quick access to key actions, such as adding new accounts, thus helping you stay organized.

These updates make it easier to tailor the app to your preferences, improving overall navigation.
