Apple has officially released the long-awaited iOS 16 and stated that iPadOS 16 will follow shortly. During June's WWDC 2022 iOS 16 event, the company showcased a plethora of enhancements and new additions that allow users to customize their lock screen widgets, accomplish tasks in a particular app by voice or tap, and set up focus filters.
We at Zoho Sign have adapted these enhancements to let users interact with our app in a more convenient way. Now, Let's take a look at the most recent enhancements to the Zoho Sign app for iOS 16.
App Intent
Apple's new App Intent framework allows for quick access to specific app actions. With our Zoho Sign app update, you can now set up conversational Siri shortcuts upon installing iOS 16. You can use Siri to perform the following actions:
- Autofill basic fields, such as your company name, the date, and your signature in pending documents.
- Assign the document ownership to someone else and decline to sign a particular document.
Lock screen widgets
We most often use widgets for quick access to information. However, there may be times when you want to delve deeper. With the iOS 16 update, you can now perform quick actions on repeated tasks by customizing your lock screen widgets. Zoho Sign allows users to add widgets for initiating the document signing process, viewing the documents that need their signature, and tracking the status of documents sent out for signatures.
Quick Notes
Apple has introduced Quick Notes with its iOS 16 updates. To make the most of this transformative addition, the Zoho Sign app now allows users to add documents and frequently-used templates to Quick Notes. This way, users can access pending documents that require a signature directly from Quick Notes.
Focus filters
You can now customize Zoho Sign app behaviour based on Focus Mode by providing filters for each focus with dark or light mode. This way you can filter out the notifications you want to receive from our application.
Enhanced document scanner
You might not have necessary business documents readily-accessible on your device at all times. With the new iOS update, you can scan the physical documents, which detects the document title automatically, and add the desired fields and recipient details to send them out for signature.
