Introducing Notebook for Google Workspace

Zoho Notebook is now available for Google Workspace, allowing you to increase your productivity without having to switch across tabs. You can convert your emails into notes and notes into emails in Gmail, save any File Cards in Notebook to Google Drive and vice-versa, and quickly jot down any thoughts you have in Google Drive without switching tabs.

You can also turn your ideas into documents and save your documents in Google Docs as note cards in Notebook. Create new calendar events, set reminders, and share your entries with your friends in Google Calendar.

Gmail

Save an email as a note card:

  1. Click the Notebook icon in Gmail.

  2. Select an email in your inbox.

  3. Choose your notebook, associate tags, and add additional notes (if any), then click Add to Notebook.

 

Send notes as emails: 

  1. Click the Compose icon.

  2. Click the Notebook icon at the bottom of the toolbar.

  3. Select any of the notes displayed, then click Add Content to Compose Window.

  4. Select your recipients, compose your subject, and click Send.

Google Drive

Add Files from Notebook: 

  1. Click the Notebook icon in Google Drive.

  2. Click Add File from Notebook.

  3. Select any of the files present in the list and click Add to Google Drive.

Create new note:

  1. Click the Notebook icon, then click Create New Note.

  2. Write down your thoughts, then choose your notebook and associate any tags.

  3. Click Add to Notebook.

Add Files from Google Drive:

  1. Select any file you'd like to add to Notebook and click the Notebook icon.

  2. Choose your notebook and click Save to Zoho Notebook.

Google Docs:

Add from Notebook:

  1. Open any document in Google Docs and click on the Notebook icon.

  2. Click Add From Notebook.

  3. Select any of the note cards present and click Add to Google Docs.

 

 

Add to Notebook:

  1. Open any document in Google Docs and click on the Notebook icon.

  2. Click Add to Notebook.

  3. Choose your notebook and click Add to Notebook.

 

Google Calendar:

Create new calendar events: 

  1. Click on the Notebook icon in Google Calendar.

  2. Create an event by selecting the Start Date and End Date of the event. You can also add notes to the event, choose your notebook, and associate any tags to it.

  3. Click Add to Notebook. Your entry will automatically be saved in your Google Calendar.

 

 

Set Reminders to your events: 

  1. Select any event in Google Calendar.

  2. Click on the Notebook icon.

  3. Set your reminder time (in minutes) to whichever time before the event start you'd like to be reminded, then click Update Event.

Share events with your friends:

  1. Select any event in Google Calendar and click the Notebook icon.

  2. Click Edit event.

  3. Select your recipients in the Guests section and click Save.

  4. The note card content added to that event will be automatically shared with them in Notebook.
