Meet WorkDrive's add-in for Microsoft Outlook
Are you a Microsoft Outlook user? If so, we have exciting news! Say goodbye to the hassle of sifting through countless emails to find that one important message or manually downloading and uploading attachments to your WorkDrive account.
With the Zoho WorkDrive add-in for Microsoft Outlook, you can effortlessly save crucial Outlook emails and upload email attachments directly to WorkDrive—all without leaving your Outlook account. Plus, you can easily share WorkDrive files as shareable links within your email conversations.
Boost creativity with the built-in image editor
WorkDrive strives to reduce the number of apps you need to use, minimize context switching, and simplify the way you manage your business data. On that note, we bring you the built-in image editor, powered by Zoho Annotator. Now you can crop images, highlight or conceal content, and add text right from within your WorkDrive account.
Save storage with bulk version deletion
Keeping all file versions isn’t always necessary, as early drafts often contain inaccuracies or outdated content. These redundant files take up valuable storage space. With WorkDrive, you can easily delete multiple file versions in bulk, simplifying file version control. Choose to retain only the latest 5 to 10 versions, or set a custom limit, to free up storage while preserving the versions that matter most.
Accelerate content discovery
Have you ever found yourself unable to recall a file name but certain of its creator? With WorkDrive's new "Created by" filter, you can effortlessly locate files by selecting the creator's name. This enhancement simplifies your search across Team Folders, My Folders, and shared folders, enabling you to find the files you need more efficiently.
Edit your code instantly
A year ago, we introduced code snippets in WorkDrive to help streamline your coding tasks. Now, with our built-in code editor, you can effortlessly view, edit, and manage your code files directly from within your WorkDrive platform. Update your code snippets with ease, eliminating the need for external tools and saving both time and effort.

Collaboration
Leverage unrestricted and secure collaboration
We believe technology should be accessible to everyone, whether they are Zoho users or not. Also, our users must experience seamless and unrestricted collaboration, which is why we’ve introduced editing capabilities for non-Zoho users.
External users without a Zoho account can securely access shared files and folders by verifying their email addresses through OTP authentication. This ensures a safe and hassle-free experience for all collaborators.
Share documents from your desktop
Collaboration is the key to success as it brings together diverse skills, knowledge, and perspectives, enabling people to achieve greater results collectively than they could individually. With that said, we’re excited to introduce the file sharing capability on desktop via WorkDrive TrueSync! With this, you can now share files and folders directly from the TrueSync application without needing to switch to the web app or mobile app.

Protect and promote your content
Protecting your intellectual property is more important than ever in an age where digital content is vulnerable to unauthorized use. Our new watermarking tool helps safeguard your valuable content against unauthorized access, duplication, or theft. Adding watermarks not only strengthens content security but also boosts your brand's visibility across digital platforms.
Back up your WorkDrive data
Zoho WorkDrive now integrates with ManageEngine RecoveryManager Plus to support backup and restore functionalities. We offer both full and incremental backup options, ensuring your critical data is securely stored. Any third-party backup solution provider can integrate with WorkDrive using the enhanced Listing API for full backups and the Changes API for incremental backups.
TrueSync enhancements and updates
Execute centralized deployment
Installing Zoho WorkDrive TrueSync across your network is now simpler than ever!
With Group Policy Objects (GPO), you can effortlessly deploy TrueSync on multiple Windows computers at once. This approach ensures an efficient, consistent, and centralized deployment across all systems.
Create, add, and manage your team
Whether you want to create Team Folders or add users with granular access control, you can now do all of that within the TrueSync app! Based on your project requirements, you can create multiple Team Folders and add members involved in those projects. Additionally, you can manage Team Folder members by adding or removing them and adjusting their roles as needed.
Streamline sync across devices
Zoho WorkDrive TrueSync now supports ARM64-based Windows devices in addition to x64 processors. This update ensures seamless file synchronization, optimized for enhanced performance and power efficiency across a broader range of devices.
Experience enhanced OS support & 64-bit architecture
WorkDrive TrueSync is now a 64-bit application for Windows OS, bringing it in line with the TrueSync app for macOS. This upgrade boosts performance and provides better memory access, ensuring faster and more efficient file synchronization.

Looking ahead, our focus is on expanding our enterprise features to drive better business outcomes for you by addressing three critical drivers of seamless collaboration and productivity: AI, workflow automation, and industry-specific customization.
Here's what we have in store for you in 2025:
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
DLP in WorkDrive aims to identify sensitive data such as personally identifiable information, customer data, financial records, and intellectual property, and to protect it from unauthorized access.
Full folder customization
Folder customization allows you to control access within your Team Folder. You can limit a member’s access to specific folders or completely hide certain folders from other members or collaborators in the Team Folder.
Workflows
WorkDrive Workflows will enable organizations to build customized workflows based on their business needs without being limited to an existing set of flows. In this way, companies can map, manage, and automate content-centered tasks across departments and teams, and thereby reduce human errors.
AI enhancements
WorkDrive will enable transcript generation for audio and video files. You can also seamlessly translate comments into your preferred language without leaving your WorkDrive account and respond accordingly. Additionally, you can extract key insights from files such as reports, contracts, and presentations, saving you time and enhancing productivity.
Zoho CRM integration
Zoho WorkDrive will soon be tightly integrated with Zoho CRM, eliminating the need for manual file uploads and data entry. A new module called Documents will be introduced through this integration and will provide organizations with a centralized storage repository.
