Here at ZeptoMail, we're constantly working to implement new features to make your experience even better. This month, we're excited to introduce some new ways ZeptoMail can improve your transactional email-sending experience.
Auto Top-up
Imagine going about your business as usual but suddenly you get a flood of emails from your customers saying they aren't receiving their OTP emails or order confirmation emails. You quickly check your ZeptoMail account and find that forgot to refill your credits or have sent so many emails recently that your usual amount of credits have run out early.
While you can just buy more credits to resume email sending, you also need to spend time and resources to respond to your customer emails and take care of the backlog of unsent transactional emails. Not only could you have spent this time and energy better elsewhere, but this could also have a negative effect on your brand's reputation. In cases like this, a small issue can have a big impact.
But don't worry: we've got you covered with our new Auto Top-up for email credits in ZeptoMail.
With ZeptoMail's Auto Top-up enabled, your credits will automatically refill when your email credit balance reaches your chosen threshold.
You can enable Auto Top-up from your subscription page in ZeptoMail. Once enabled, you can customize these settings:
- Minimum threshold: When your email credit count reaches this threshold, your account will automatically purchase more email credits.
- Purchased credits: This is the number of credits you wish to be purchased automatically when the threshold is reached.
With Auto Top-up enabled, you'll never have to worry about disruptions to your transactional emails.

Suppression list
Of all the emails a business sends, delivery of transactional emails is often the most important. Protecting your sender reputation is crucial for the success of your business. To help you in that regard, we're introducing Suppression Lists in ZeptoMail. The suppression list will enable you to clean up your email list and keep your bounce rate under control.
With ZeptoMail, you can set up and manage two types of suppression lists:
- Email suppression
- Tracking suppression
Email Suppression
Once you add an email address to the Email Suppression list, all emails sent to that address will be blocked in the future. If there are other recipients along with the added email address, you will be able to choose if you wish to block the email for other recipients too.
Track Suppression
If you add an email address to the Track Suppression list, email tracking will be disabled for the emails sent to that email address.
Other enhancements
Activity Logs
You can have multiple users in your ZeptoMail account. With each user handling different aspects of the account, keeping track of who did what can be cumbersome. With our activity log, you can get a detailed view of all the actions performed by each user in your account, including details like:
- Date and time of action
- User who performed the action
- Entity on which the action was performed
- The details of the action performed
Subscription page
Along with the addition of Auto Top-up, we have also completely revamped the look and feel of our Subscription page. The new UI is designed to be more intuitive and easier to navigate, so you can more easily keep track of your email credits.
IP restrictions
We are always working to improve the security of your data and account. You can add an additional layer of protection for your emails being sent using APIs or SMTP by adding IP restrictions. With IP restriction, you can choose the IP addresses/range from which you wish to allow email sending. While users can access ZeptoMail for any IP, email sending will only be allowed from the IPs you provide.
We're hard at work coming up with more ways to make your ZeptoMail experience even better! In the meantime, give our latest updates a try and share your feedback with us on social media, through email, or in the comments below!
