Now that we're in January 2023, let's take a look back at what we did in 2022. We began 2022 with a single goal in mind: to provide excellent remote support solutions to businesses. Here is a rundown of last year's key feature additions and updates:

Chromebook Remote Control: With Zoho Assist, you can now remotely connect to Chromebook devices for access, control, and troubleshooting. Learn more.

Unattended bulk deployment using SCCM: Zoho Assist uses System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for bulk deployment. SCCM is a high-speed, intranet-based bulk deployment tool for deploying software to devices on the same intranet and domain.

Unattended access deployment via Microsoft Intune:  You can now bulk deploy Unattended Agent silently via Microsoft Intune. The Unattended Agent EXE file and corresponding command line parameters for silent deployment via Intune are available here.

Deployment dashboard for unattended access: The Unattended Access dashboard provides a consolidated view of total device distribution, offline/online devices, unattended agent version, recently added devices, and total computer count.

Enhanced video streaming: Assist Video Streaming now supports 60 FPS in sessions conducted between Windows 7/8/10/11 and Windows Native Desktop.

Peer-to-peer remote connectivity for Mac: When multiple Mac devices connect to a network, a direct peer-to-peer connection is automatically established. This minimizes latency and improves the efficiency of remote work.

In-app diagnostic tools in the Unattended Access tab: Access in-app diagnostic tools directly from the Unattended Access tab to make remote diagnostics more convenient for technicians.

Connect to a specific user: Create a URS session with a specific user desktop, even if numerous users are logged in on a Windows server OS-like environment.

Application sharing: Users can now choose to share individual applications rather than sharing their entire screen with a technician.

Enterprise support: Quickly access an array of features and efficiently attend to your customers' needs.

Integrations

Jira integration support: Zoho Assist now provides Jira integration support to our users in the IN, AU, CN, and JP data centers, in addition to users already supported by our existing DC list, which includes the US and EU.

Assist/ Live Camera Assistance integration:
Live Camera Assistance offers guidance to a person on the ground by viewing their live camera stream from their smartphone or smart glass. Our new feature, live camera assistance, uses AR to provide remote assistance sessions.

Zoho Assist's integration with Webhooks: Configure webhooks on the Zoho Assist remote access platform to receive real-time notifications.

Assist/Meeting integration: You can now access Meeting within Zoho Assist to host secure online meetings with clients, experts, and other technicians. Learn more.

  1. I appreciate that you keep updating the product, but there is one thing that really needs to be fixed for me. I use 4K monitors and I keep having to resize the screen size from "best fit" to "fit to screen." Having to do this each time I access a screen is a pain. Please provide a setting to set a default or something that accomplishes that. This may seem like a small thing, but it is tedious and wastes a lot of time. It should be an easy fix. Thanks.

    1. Hi Tom, Thanks for your feedback. We understand the use case and scenario of your requirement. Let me share this with my development team and add it to our development roadmap. I shall also write to you once this is taken up for development and released in a future update.
