This past summer, we launched Zoho Academy—an online, self-service archive of educational content designed to help people (like you) do business better. Our goal was to do more than give you the right tools and technology. After all, the right software certainly makes running your business easier, more productive and more effective... but it can't teach you how to make better business decisions.
But we can. And so for all the questions you have that go beyond technology, we want to be there for you.
In June, the content we launched included 9 ebooks jam-packed with comprehensive information on how to create, curate, and maintain your best business website. Since then, we've added five workbooks for those of you who tend toward a more hands-on, active approach. The workbooks cover brand story, user journey mapping, business logos, blog content, and the buyer's journey.
Last week, we added to the archive again, kicking off a series called "Marketing 101," which will cover a range of subject matter that's pertinent to you no matter what business or industry you're in. The first ebook in the series is A Comprehensive Guide to Market Research. We decided to take a narrative approach with this ebook, walking users through the entire market research process from start to finish. The guide includes:
an overview of the SWOT analysis: a situation analysis that will help your business determine the best questions to pursue in its next round of market research
a step-by-step guide to conducting competitor research and a comprehensive list of other secondary market research resources
a primer on primary research, including recommendations on choosing the best method and market segment for your market research question
best practices—and best questions to ask—to create powerful market research surveys
recommendations on when to conduct interviews and focus groups for your market research, how to prepare for them, and best practices to follow on the day of
Future ebooks in our Marketing 101 series will cover developing a brand positioning strategy, writing a marketing plan, creating email marketing and social media campaigns, and more... so sign up for alerts and keep an eye on your email for updates! In the meantime, we'll keep developing the resources and materials for the most pressing questions you've got about running your business.
