The New Search

Stepping into the Web 2.0 world, I now find myself using sites like Memeorandum much more often than the conventional 'GYM' (thanks to Om Malik for making this abbreviation so popular) search engines. This is so because knowing the latest tech beat and what the web is speaking of 'now' becomes mandatory for folks like us who live our life in the Web 2.0 world.

Take for example the Sony BMG's DRM-rootkit-uninstaller affair. It has literally exploded and the net is abuzz with the news now. Sites like Memeorandum, Technorati, GYM's news/blog search services score over the traditional search here by giving the current pulse of the web. Not to forget the feed readers which help in their own way. Live search is the new search mantra & it looks so exciting.
