One of the most significant events in the tech industry, WWDC 2023, took place on June 6, 2023. At Zoho Invoice, we wasted no time in working to bring you all the latest features to keep up with the updates discussed there. With the new updates, you can now perform tasks directly from the home screen or lock screen of your device, enabling you to get your work done faster than ever.
Apple unveiled updates across all its operating systems, and in this blog, we'll look into how Zoho Invoice has leveraged these enhancements related to iOS, iPadOS, and macOS to make our app even more intuitive and efficient.
Interact With Zoho Invoice Widgets
Supported OS:
This feature will be available for macOS Sonoma in the last week of September.
Our widgets are no longer limited to displaying information. Now, you can use our widgets to get things done.
With the Timer widget, you can now start, stop, or pause project timers directly from your device's home screen or lock screen, eliminating the need to open our app for these actions.
Let's say you want to view the hours logged for the project you're currently working on; you can view this information from the widget itself without needing to open the app. Or, if you've started the timer for a project from the web app, and you have the Timer widget on your device, you can conveniently pause or stop the timer right from the widget.
The Overdue Invoices widget enables you to send payment reminders to your customers directly from the home screen, making it easier to stay on top of your receivables.
Perform App-Related Actions From Spotlight
Supported OS:
Introducing an easy way to access your Zoho Invoice shortcuts. With the App Shortcuts in Spotlight feature, simply search for Zoho Invoice in Spotlight, and your most used app-related shortcuts will appear right next to the app in the Top Hit section for easy access. If you want to create an invoice, simply click New Invoice next to the app. This feature reduces the number of steps required to perform a task, enhancing your overall efficiency. Additionally, these actions can also be executed using Siri commands.
Track Project Timers While Charging Your iPhone
Supported OS:
With StandBy, when you turn your iPhone to its side while charging using MagSafe, you can enjoy a new full-screen experience with glanceable information without unlocking your iPhone. While in StandBy, you can now use the small Timer widget and Live Activities to start, stop, or pause project timers.
We're sure you're as excited as we are about these new features. Upgrade your iPhone, iPad, and Mac (The macOS Sonoma update will be available in the last week of September) to the latest versions and give these features a spin! Let us know your favorite features in the comments below.
