The most anticipated event in the tech world, the 35th annual Worldwide Developers Conference, took place on June 10, 2024, and has certainly not defeated the hype. As Apple unveiled its flagship operating system iOS 18, we were on the mission of leveraging these latest features into Zoho Invoice.
Quick create transactions from the Control Center
Supported iOS: iOS 18, iPadOS 18
Create transactions instantly with the tap of a finger by adding Zoho Invoice to your Control Center widget. The revamped Control Center widget empowers you to access controls with just a swipe down from the top-right of your iPhone, from the home screen or the lock screen, and also configure the action button to invoke controls. Wondering how this can accelerate your tasks? You can tailor the widget according to actions you frequently perform without the need to divert from the current screen.
Let's say you want to create an invoice. You can do this from the control you've added in the Control Center with a single tap, without the obligation to open the app. Similarly, you can configure your most-used actions, such as creating quotes, items, expenses, and timesheets. Finally, access the Timer widget right away from the Control Center. By just tapping the toggle, you can now start or stop timers for your projects effortlessly.
On your lock screen, you can swap the traditional camera button or the flashlight button with controls that are convenient and a priority to you. Assign your favourite control to the physical action button. You can now perform priority actions in Zoho Invoice with unprecedented ease and speed.
Sync your device contacts into Zoho Invoice
Supported iOS: iOS 18, iPadOS 18
Are you rummaging for contact information across different apps? Authorize Zoho Invoice to access your device's contacts—be it entirely or a specific set of contacts. You can search for the device's contacts while adding a customer. When you type the first three letters of your contact's first name, the suggestion pops up on your keyboard, and you can match it accordingly. Once you find a unique match, simply tap the button to bring your contact into Zoho Invoice.
The best part is you can include your device's contacts in an outgoing email when emailing your invoice. Initiate communications directly from Zoho Invoice to simplify interactions and eliminate the need to search for contact information manually.
Unify your Zoho Invoice contacts with your device contacts
Supported iOS: iOS 18, iPadOS 18
Navigate to Settings and, under Contact Provider, enable Zoho Invoice to provide the contacts managed in Zoho Invoice to the system-wide Contacts ecosystem. Once enabled, you will see a separate tab called Zoho Invoice in your device's contacts. This will bring all your contacts to one place and eliminate the need for you to open the app each time and look up a customer's details.
We are just as excited as you are to experience these attractive features in Zoho Invoice. Make sure you update your iPhone and iPad to their latest versions to try these features. Let us know what you think of your favorite features in the comments!
