Lucas Pols, president at one of the largest angel investor groups in the US, wrote about the importance of kindness in business in a 2018 Forbes article entitled Be Kind, Rewind: How Attitude Can Make Or Break Success. It's a short read and has a clear takeaway: the lasting impression that kindness leaves on executives. In the same vein, we wanted to celebrate the kindness our users and customers have extended to us in 2023.

As we dash towards the holidays over the next few weeks, we want to recognize you for your extensive planning and tireless execution of hundreds of thousands of marketing campaigns, which we had the privilege of supporting through Zoho Marketing Automation.

2023 was an eventful year. We released the new version of Zoho Marketing Automation (2.0) in October this year, we're incredibly grateful that our months of hard work paid off, as users quickly adopted the shiny new version. For those who aren't familiar with it, here's a highlight reel of all the changes.

We're starting 2024 with a bang! You'll see much more of us—at an event near you, or on your laptop screen—and more consistently, too.

  • Webinar series: We're launching a webinar series to show you the larger scope of the product. Join our sessions to ask us anything, delve deep into features and capabilities, or simply to learn the basics.

  • Zoholics: Imagine a vibrant, fun-filled tech conference—but educational and thought-provoking. That sums up Zoholics, our annual user conference. Learn from marketing automation experts and also connect with local Zoho Marketing Automation users from your area.

  • Events: We'll be in cities near you with workshop-style training sessions, educational materials, and some extra treats. Connect with us to learn about the principles and best practices of marketing automation.

  • Collateral: Making a well-informed decision is crucial when adopting marketing technology. The road ahead 

As you've probably noticed, we're extremely excited about 2024. To share that excitement, we present to you an overview of Zoho Marketing Automation's 2024 roadmap.

  • Generative content: Use generative AI for content assistance inside the platform using Zoho's own AI assistant, Zia. Enough said, for now.

  • Smart personas: Create the ideal customer profiles that align with your go-to-market strategy.

  • Out-of-the-box SMS: Take advantage of SMS marketing without third-party SMS integrations.

  • WhatsApp marketing: This is the big one—WhatsApp marketing in a marketing automation platform. Imagine the possibilities!

  • ABM: Employ account-based marketing for high value accounts and orchestrate personalized campaigns.

  • Sentiment analysis: Zia's sentiment analysis will help you identify a contact's overall sentiment with data from website, email and SMS.

We have even more planned, including—but not limited to—smart scheduling, predictive template grading, anomaly detection (with methods to offset negative trends), and mobile app analytics.
