3) Is it high-volume? Yes. The same follow-up may need to be sent to multiple candidates.

Step 4: Standardize the chosen process

Trigger: Candidate reaches the interview stage.
Action: Send a follow-up email after three days.
Outcome: If there's no response, send a reminder or notify the recruiter.

Think of it as telling your system when to act, what to do, and what should happen next.

Step 6: Test with a small data set

You've figured out what to automate and how to automate it. Now test it with a small data set or one specific use case.
For example, test the candidate follow-up workflow with one job opening and a small group of candidates. Check if it works as expected, fix any issues, and refine the workflow.

Start small. Test and refine before you scale.

Step 7: Measure success

Once the workflow works, scale it across more candidates and job openings. Then measure its impact.
For example, if your candidate follow-up automation was designed to reduce recruiter effort and improve response rates, compare the results before and after automation.

Use your KPIs to measure the impact. If the results aren't what you expected, revisit the workflow, make changes, and measure again.
