As we approach the end of another remarkable year, it's time to reflect on the incredible journey we had. 2023 has been a testament to our commitment to innovation and user-centricity. Zoho Social has undergone a series of updates and enhancements with an aim to help you manage social media easily and stay connected to your audience. In this year-end blog, we take you on a journey through the key milestones, features, enhancements, and some customer love.
Let's take a look at some of the features in Zoho Social that our customers loved the most
Major updates
Zia
Artificial Intelligence has found its way into our daily activities and has been leaving a huge impact on the way we interact with each other and with businesses. We introduced Zia—generative AI for publishing—to keep up with the evolving needs of our audience.
Zia's integration with OpenAI makes your social media publishing quick and effortless by:
Framing content about a particular topic/keyword
Suggesting images to be added to a post
Suggesting relevant hashtags for a post
Rephrasing and simplifying content
Providing different variations of content
Drafting responses for social media interactions
Inbox
Nobody likes a cluttered Inbox. Missing out on important messages is a nightmare for brands/businesses. Zoho Social’s Inbox simplifies the process of tracking all your social interactions across various networks by providing a unified interface for you and your team. Inbox helps you manage, organize, and assign cross-channel communication in a single place and respond to your audience quickly.
Mastodon
We added another feather to our cap this year: Mastodon, a Fediverse platform that has gotten a lot of attention lately. The Mastodon integration enables you to create, compose, schedule, and automatically post your content directly onto Mastodon from Zoho Social. Mastodon stands out as a platform where you won't encounter any advertisements or algorithms; instead, it maintains a chronological timeline. You can create posts, connect with like-minded people, and be part of a community.
IG grid preview
With Zoho Social's grid preview, you can now organize your new posts as well as easily re-arrange scheduled posts by dragging and dropping them, allowing you to curate the ideal look for your feed.
IG Story direct publishing
You can now publish or schedule your Instagram Story directly from Zoho Social, enabling you to publish one Story at a time. You can either upload the media or create the Story from scratch using the editor tools available.
Facebook Reels
We now support publishing or scheduling of your Facebook Reel content with ease. You can even have a set of Reels planned on your Zoho Social calendar and schedule them for later, helping you organize video content and easily plan around other posts.
Cross-brand posting
We wanted to make your posting process much easier, so we introduced cross-brand posting that enables you to post customized content from all channels across all your brands simultaneously.
Enhanced media library
We also modified our media library so that you can upload media directly from Cloud Picker, Canva, and from media libraries Pixabay, Pexels, and Giphy. This enables you to search for media using relevant keywords from a huge library in a cloud-based environment. With the advantage of providing everything together in one place, the media library is a one-stop solution for all your media needs.
Published posts
Our content calendar just got better! Now, you can view your published posts alongside your scheduled posts in our social calendar.
Other highlights
- In-depth analytics: You can view in-depth data on the various performance metrics of your social media channels from the Brand Health section.
- Multimedia support for Instagram: You can now add images and videos to your Instagram Stories and carousel posts using either the web or mobile app.
- Add events in GMB: You can now promote your upcoming events and shows by adding them to your Google Business Profile's listing.
- Enhancements in reports: You can filter and view in-depth reports for an extended period of up to one year.
- Export posts: You can export all your scheduled posts, drafts, posts awaiting approval, and unpublished posts as a CSV file in Social.
We constantly work on updating the platform and will continue to do so in 2024.
Where we were in 2023
It was truly gratifying for us to have been a part of LinkedIn's first-ever B2Believe Partner Summit and pop-up in India and Singapore. As a certified LinkedIn marketing solutions partner and as part of our ongoing strategic partnership, Zoho Social was happy to connect and collaborate with B2B marketers and businesses. The atmosphere buzzed with enthusiasm as we exchanged perspectives and thoughts, setting the stage for a dynamic roadmap teeming with fresh possibilities and integrations.
We also took part in Social Media Marketing World 2023 (SMMW'23). Throughout the event, we loved conversing with you and a hundred other social media experts and learning what's important to you.
