The year is ending. It is time for some closure.
With the vibes of Christmas and the New Year kicking in, we are bidding goodbye to 2023. As we welcome the coming year with enthusiasm, let's take a quick look at the updates of the year that passed.
Throughout the year, we launched a series of features for OneAuth, and if there was one thing the OneAuth team strived for meticulously, it was to provide security without compromising user experience.
Our additional focus was presenting OneAuth as a complete authenticator that doesn't cater to just your Zoho accounts needs, but to all your third-party online accounts too.
Transition: Version 2.0 to Version 3.0
In April, we translated our focus of being a third-party online accounts' authenticator into a reality with the 3.0 release of OneAuth. This version is improved across multiple fronts like speed, security, and convenience- all core aspects for any authenticator.
This 3.0 switch also brings with it a better Authenticator in OneAuth, where you enable two-factor authentication (TFA) for X and other social media accounts, Google, Amazon, & more online services.
Some of the key updates are:
Organize online accounts with Folders
Handling multiple TFA accounts just got easier. With Folders, users can get rid of endless scrolling. Structure your online accounts for easy navigation by reordering and grouping them into folders to differentiate them based on their use.Move from Google Authenticator
You can easily move from your Google Authenticator and access your Zoho accounts and other online accounts from a single space. Directly import accounts from your Google Authenticator with by scanning a QR code from your OneAuth app.

Every year, we enhance OneAuth to ensure quick authentication.
Smart Sign-In takes us a step further in this regard while authenticating Zoho accounts.
Log in to Your Zoho Accounts Quicker: Smart Sign-In
In 2023, we introduced a new, more convenient way to log in— a way that requires neither usernames nor passwords.
With Smart Sign-In, you can just scan a QR code to access your work accounts. This mode of login reduces the time you spend authenticating credentials to access your Zoho accounts.

Combining Vault & OneAuth: Seamless Logins
The next exciting feature we'd like to talk about is the integration between Zoho Vault and Zoho OneAuth. This 2023, we brought in one of the most-requested features "Unlocking Vault with OneAuth".
Unlock Zoho Vault with OneAuth:
Are you tired of typing your master password to access your Vault account?
You can now unlock your Zoho Vault account with OneAuth's push notification. Ease your sign in to your Vault passwords by initiating a push from your Vault site, type in the required number from OneAuth, and access your Vault.
Auto-fill your Passwords from Vault and Authenticate via OneAuth:
If you've protected your online accounts with your Zoho Vault account, you can autofill those passwords in your browser, from Vault to sign in. For the second step of verification, you'll automatically receive OTPs from OneAuth. This feature streamlines your sign-in and quickens the process.
On the technology front, we continue to be up-to-date by taking up various features that are new and advanced across platforms and specific to your devices.

What will not change in 2024?
2023 has been kind.
Like how individual strands of thread combine to form a strong rope, our features and enhancements make the latest OneAuth better.
We had security in mind while crafting each of these features in 2023. These security features though invisible, help protect all your accounts from cyberattacks while not compromising on user experience.
This will not change in 2024 or in the future.
