This year, we didn't have any dramatic overnight launches, but instead quietly focused on modernizing everyday work with thoughtful updates that added up over time.

Let's start with what we added to one of our core pillars: Collaboration.
Work doesn’t pause when you step away from your desk, and Cliq made sure collaboration didn’t either. Now, you can:

Host professional-grade broadcasts using external production tools thanks to Cliq's RTMP support for live events.

We also focused on removing the delays that interrupt your flow.

Share everything you need in one go by adding multiple files at once.

Get things done even faster with Cliq widgets and shortcuts on iOS. Access key actions straight from your home screen, so everyday tasks take just a tap, not a detour through menus.

Power without complexity
And what's a great year without giving our admins more control?
Sensitive data protection covers more countries and global standards, giving admins better control over what can be shared.
We made network whitelisting and deployments easier for IT teams by simplifying media traffic into a single domain.
App submissions like bots, commands, and widgets can now be reviewed and approved directly from the admin panel.
WorkDrive notifications are now configurable, so admins can decide how and where file alerts appear.
Network-level file cleanup makes it easier to manage storage and keep workspaces tidy.
Switching to Cliq is now much simpler with easy imports from Meta Workplace and Google Workspace.
For admins and IT teams, 2025 was about confidence and clarity.
A more connected workspace
No team works in isolation, and neither should their workspace. This year, we expanded the Cliq ecosystem with new Marketplace extensions, refreshed existing ones, and strengthened key external integrations to help teams stay better connected.
Development teams now have better visibility into their work, with Bitbucket updates that make it easier to keep an eye on repositories, pull requests, and pipelines as they progress.
When things go wrong, response times matter. PagerDuty bot calls help teams jump into action faster during critical incidents.
With Kuando Busylight, availability is no longer limited to what’s on screen. Your real-time status is now visible in physical workspaces too.
Project updates and time tracking stay closer to day-to-day conversations through integrations like Zoho Projects, Nifty, Everhour, and others apps teams already use.
Polling also got more practical this year, with options to export results, set how long a poll should run, and get alerts when changes are made.
Built for teams everywhere
Great collaboration platforms should feel tailored to your team, no matter where you work.
This year, we at Cliq expanded language support with Korean and Traditional Chinese, making collaboration more natural for teams across regions. Additionally, cross-data-center communication further broke down geographical barriers, helping teams work seamlessly across borders.
Quiet improvements that make a big difference
Not every improvement shows up as a big new feature. Some of the most important ones simply make day-to-day work feel smoother.
On Android, Cliq quietly became lighter over the course of 2025. The app size dropped from around 90 MB at the beginning of the year to about 65 MB by mid-year, and it stayed lean after that. For users, this means quicker installations, faster updates, and less storage space eaten up on their phones.
We also spent time improving how fast the app opens. Slow launches steadily came down from roughly 15 percent earlier in the year to close to 10 percent by the end, so getting into a conversation now feels quicker and less disruptive.
Across devices, the focus was on helping people act faster once they knew what they wanted to do. Starting a new message, jumping back into an active thread, or picking up an ongoing conversation now takes fewer steps with quick actions, auto-follow threads, and shortcuts.
None of this was flashy, but together, these changes made Cliq feel faster and more dependable each day.

2025 was about fixing the everyday frustrations that slow work down and making collaboration feel easier at every step. And it’s just the foundation for what’s coming next!
