From WeBreakStuff - Ebay is announcing that they will stop charging developers for access to their APIs.
This is good news in many ways. For one, it sure will benefit ebay as many apps built over the exposed APIs will drive more traffic to their site. On the other hand, it will make companies like Google rethink their strategy. Google now allows users to make use of its APIs to make just 1000 queries per day. May be they will heed to this request by Dave Winer, and others like Yahoo & MSN will follow.
