Recap: 2009
Before we enter the new year, let us take a quick look at 2009. It has been a great active year for Zoho. We changed the name of our parent company from AdventNet Inc to Zoho Corp and crossed 2 million users. On the products side, we continued enhancing our applications. If I had to summarize the entire activity in one image, here it is...
Yellow blocks represent enhancements to existing apps while the red blocks represent new applications. As you clearly notice,
the focus for 2009 has been on improving and integrating existing apps.
We worked on several integrations between Zoho Apps (details here and here) as well as integration between external apps (details here & here).
Several partners integrated our apps intro their applications. Some of them include NTT, Stoneware, Central Desktop, Knowledge Tree, Contactology, GlassCubes, Elementool, FilesAnywhere, OOdesk, WizeHive and many more.
In '09 we received several awards from Tie, Webware, InfoWorld and ofcourse Microsoft, presenting us the FakeOfficeaward :).
Zoho was covered by many media outlets (NYT - here & here, CNN, NBC, Inc, Fox Business etc) and we also saw the debut of three books on Zoho (Zoho 4 Everyone, Zoho for Dummies & Foundation Zoho)
To summarize, 2009 was filled with activity and we couldn't have had such an year without your support. On behalf of Zoho, I'd like to thank you all for your support and we are looking forward to a productive 2010.
