Small Business and Thanksgiving: It's time to be thankful for doing what you love!

It’s Thanksgiving week, and you’re probably looking forward to spend the weekend feasting with family and friends!

But before we get to the weekend, let’s remember to spend some time saying ‘thank you’ to all those who’ve helped make your business what it is. If it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t be so happy and successful doing what we love!

Say thanks to your team, all those people who work hard all year around to help you manage your business. You could hand out personalized thank-you notes to each team member appreciating his or her contribution to your business.

Be thankful to friends and family – all those who’ve stood by you through the thick and thin of running your own business. They’re the ones you ask for help or advice from when you’re faced with doubt or when you need to make complex business decisions. Surprise them by taking some extra time off to do something they’ve been wanting to do with you.

And of course, don’t forget to thank those whom your business depends on – your customers, especially those who’ve always been patrons of your business. A good way to express your gratitude is via mailers that include a special Thanksgiving deal. But even better, if you could go the old-school way and include a charming little thank you note with every purchase receipt or invoice. Also, show appreciation to those customers who’ve helped your business grow by giving you feedback and suggestions – even if it was negative feedback that helped you improve certain aspects of your business.

On that note, we’d like to give out a huge thank you to all of our customers for using our apps, giving us feedback – both positive and negative, helping us build better apps and staying with us while we do.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving 🙂
