Zoho Mail integrates with 100+ applications via Automate.io

Over time, the way we work and communicate across our workspace has drastically changed. To stay ahead of this trend, the Mail team is always striving to give you a seamless combination of email and collaboration—but we still continue to need multiple applications to handle other stuff. In an attempt to bridge this gap, we've added a new app to Zoho Mail's list of existing integrations. Zoho Mail is now integrated with 100+ applications via Automate.io.

Automate.io is a third-party integration app that lets you connect any two applications, each with a set of defined triggers and actions you can pick from.

How does this work?

Select any two applications—one app will be the trigger and the other will be the app where the action is performed. When the trigger occurs in one app, Automate.io will perform the subsequent action in the other app. You can also customize actions in multiple applications, instead of just one.

For example, if you want to send an email from Zoho Mail each time there's a new lead in a Facebook lead ad, all you need to do is pick Facebook as the trigger app and set Zoho Mail as the action app. Set up the integration by providing the relevant information, and you're all set to go!

Similar integrations can be configured using Zoho Mail and a multitude of apps from Automate.io's app listing. Either choose from the list of popular integrations for the two selected apps, or build your own integration by manually selecting the trigger and the action.

So here are some integrations that we thought might come in handy!

Follow up on leads and close deals in a snap!

Convert your Zoho CRM contacts into follow-up emails. When a new contact is added in Zoho CRM, a custom email is sent from Zoho Mail.

And if Salesforce is your CRM of choice, you can set it up so each new opportunity in Salesforce sends a follow-up email from Zoho Mail.

Communicate across boundaries without any hassle

If Slack is the messaging application in your workspace, you can customize it so that every new email that's tagged in Zoho Mail triggers a message to one of your connected Slack channels.

Project management made easy

There are different project management apps that suit the needs of different users. Basecamp, Asana, and Trello are just a few of the many that integrate with Zoho Mail via Automate.io.

Every time you receive an email in a specific folder in your Zoho Mail account, you can choose to add a task in your Asana account. And there are tons of integrations possible with other project management applications, as well!

Stay on top of your social media profiles

Twitter forms a central part of our social media activities. If someone mentions your brand or your company on Twitter, you can set up an integration to draft an email in Zoho Mail that's ready to send once you've reviewed it and made changes.

Give these integrations a go by clicking 'Connect' across the relevant one, in the list below.

These are just some of the many examples that are now available! Choose the apps that you work with often, explore your options, play around, and you might come up with exciting new integrations. For detailed information on the configuration, visit this help page.

    1. Hi Guillaume, We've checked your account and made some changes with respect to the mail sending issue. You shouldn't be facing any issues henceforth. If you have any further doubts, we request you to send an email to support(at)zohomail(dot)com. Hope this helps!

  3. I have long been hoping for a way to create a task to respond to an email. To do this, emails need permalinks, so that they can be linked from the task. Then, a button could be created that would simultaneously create the task and archive the email.

    1. Hi Daniel, If you need a reminder to respond to your email, you can use our Email Reminders feature. Follow https://www.zoho.com/mail/help/follow-up-emails.html#alink3" rel="nofollow">this help page to know more about setting reminders for incoming emails. In case you need to create a task and archive the emails, for emails that fall under a specific criteria, you can set a filter specifying the relevant conditions, and choose the Add Mail as Task and Archive Email options from the actions. 4. What is the difference beteen Automate.io and Zoho flows? It is the same right? So why don't you advise to use Zoho flows?

    1. Hi John, This announcement is majorly intended for Zoho Mail users who are already using Automate.io. They would benefit from this integration. With Zoho Flow, we aim to achieve tighter integrations of all Zoho products with other apps. We have an extensive set of triggers and actions specific to Zoho Mail in Flow, and we are working on compiling a set of Flows that would best suit our customers. You can expect an update on this soon!
