We’re adding new markup tools and a full-screen preview for images to enhance the way you review images in Writer.
Whether you’re working on a Twitter campaign or collaborating with your product team, it’s highly likely that you end up dropping designs, prototypes, and photos into documents to supplement your writing with compelling imagery.
Thanks to everyone who wrote to us with helpful feedback, we concluded Zoho Writer users are looking for a better navigation system to scroll through all the images in a document and more powerful tools to add contextual feedback on them. We went to work, and we’re happy to announce the following features today:
Navigate through images easily
You’re now able to take a look at all the images in a document in a single shot. Opening the Image Preview option brings up a full-screen view of the image with an option to navigate to the next image right away. The full-screen view is ideal for designers and marketers trying to get a better, more detailed look at an image.
Add feedback to a specific part of an image
Circle objects, highlight areas, add comments, or even insert criticality tags to let the collaborator know how important the feedback is. We’re adding six new markup tools to make it easier for you to pass on details during image reviews.
Any markup you add becomes a part of the image, making it convenient for your designers to take feedback off Writer and bring it to their tool of choice for reference.
Hide sensitive information
Working with screenshots that contain private data? Redact them before you invite other people into the document. Writer comes with both Blur and Smudge options to redact the image.
That’s all for now. Let us know how you like the new updates by commenting below or writing to us at support@zohowriter.com. You could also give our Annotator add-on a try to use these tools and capture ideas across the web.
Happy writing!

The article shows that how feedbacks work in a positive way, I feel no feedback is negative every feedback is an opportunity to improve.
Please let me know what you think ?? Thank you, Lisa Scoville
