After tasting great success in launching the reimagined version of the Zoho OneAuth - Authenticator, here we are with another exciting announcement.
Yes! Along with the new release of macOS Monterey, we are proud to launch the Zoho OneAuth mac app. You can now get a native authenticator experience directly from your MacBooks, MacAirs, and iMacs. We have retained all the features of the Zoho OneAuth mobile app and also added many macOS-specific features to it.
Go passwordless with your Mac
With the native mac app, you don't need to have your mobile device in your hand every time you verify your Zoho sign-in. After you enter your email address or username on your browser, you will receive a push notification on your Mac. You just have to verify your Touch ID to sign in to your Zoho account.
OTP Authenticator
Do you use multiple online accounts like Google, Microsoft, and GitHub to complete your work? Now secure all of them along with your Zoho account using just one app, Zoho OneAuth - Authenticator. The app has universal clipboard support hence you can quickly copy the OTP codes with just one click and paste them anywhere you want including any of your Apple devices such as iPhones or iPads.
Secure cloud backups
Back up your OTP secrets to the Zoho cloud securely using a passphrase and sync them across all your Apple and Android devices. These secrets are encrypted in a way that not even Zoho can view them, thereby assuring you the utmost privacy and security.
Smart widgets
With widgets, you can now access your OTP codes without even opening the Zoho OneAuth app. With the native mac app, you can add your OTP codes as widgets in various sizes to your Notification Cente.
Touch Bar support
Perform actions quickly in the Touch Bar such as managing your devices and sessions, scanning QR codes, switching between MFA modes, and many more.
Keyboard & Siri Shortcuts
Perform more actions with your keyboard in the app, using keyboard shortcuts. Scanning or browsing QR codes and syncing OTP secrets to the cloud are some of the available keyboard shortcuts.
Apart from keyboard shortcuts, thanks to the new macOS Monterey release, you can just call Siri to open the OTP authenticator tab in the app.
Time-sensitive push notifications
Focus mode in macOS Monterey helps you improve your productivity by silencing all other distracting notifications. However, while running a business, there will always be some information that needs your immediate attention, and that's where time-sensitive push notifications save your day. Once enabled, you will receive your Zoho account sign-in approval notifications even if you're in Focus mode.
Apart from these, we have plenty of features such as context-based tooltips, hover actions, Apple maps, Sign in with Apple, Dark mode support, Dock, and MenuBar menus. Go ahead and install Zoho OneAuth - Authenticator mac app. Let us know what you think about the app in the comments section.
